Botox / Restylane

Sandra Limerick is offering treatments including Botox and dermal filling to reduce and prevent the fine lines and wrinkles that appear over time with age, smoking and overexposure to sunlight. Products used include Vistabel® for Botox treatment, Restlyane®, restylane vital® and Perlane® for dermal filling.

These treatments are used to reduce frown lines, smile lines and wrinkles on facial expression and at rest. Treatment involving the eye area and forehead are particularly effective. Dermal filling of the folds around the junction of the nose and cheek, forehead wrinkles and even definition and filling of the lips can also be achieved to enhance and maintain your facial appearance.

Case Study

The patient featured presented complaining of wrinkles around the eye area on smiling and bags underneath the  eyes at rest. A single course of botox was provided initially to minimise the  wrinkles around the eyes on smiling. She was so pleased with the positive  cosmetic result and the ease with which it was achieved, that she now  has confidence to seek further cosmetic treatment to reduce the bags  under her eyes at rest.

How the treatments work

The facial rejuvenation techniques we deliver are available to both men and women in the age ranges of 18 to 65 years and are safe and non-permanent solutions to the signs of facial ageing. Botox treatment uses a toxin derived from the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum which allows temporary muscle relaxation. The effects produced can last for between 3 and 6 months and re-treatment may be required 3 to 4 times in the first two years, thereafter, as your muscles relearn to relax treatment may only be required biannually. Restylane® facial fillers contain one of your skins natural chemicals, Hyaluronic acid. This helps skin maintain its elasticity and results of treatment can be expected to last for a year after the initial course.
