Veneering front teeth allows the refacing of the tooth with porcelain or white filling with very little tooth removal. Typically, the dentist removes the surface 0.5mm, takes an impression, makes a temporary cover and then uses special techniques to bond the veneer to the tooth. This conservative technique is especially useful for fractured teeth, crooked teeth, filling spaces between teeth, covering stains and discoloured front fillings.
